Maryland Beaten Biscuits

Maryland Beaten Biscuits are a tradition that started on the eastern shore of Maryland. This book was originally commissioned by the Parsons family. However, because of such a strong interest from the public, the family has allowed us to sell a small version of the book. The book highlights the traditions of the recipe as well as unique insights from individual members of the family. The biscuits themselves are kneaded (beaten) with the back of an ax to give them a unique texture.
